Shrinkage Compensation Technology of Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Structure of Large Cross-Sea Bridge

چکیده
In view of the poor accuracy and unsatisfactory effect shrinkage compensation for concrete-filled steel tubular structures large cross-sea bridge (CSTS-LCSB), a new technology CSTS-LCSB is proposed. The mechanism analyzed, including plastic shrinkage, dry autogenous carbonation shrinkage. proportion in ordinary concrete high-strength determined. has different forms environments, strain state environments calculated according to difference. area structure determined, expansion agent used compensate CSTS-LCSB. experimental results show that proposed good on certain feasibility.

Seismic Design of Concrete-Filled Circular Steel Bridge Piers
The adequacy of the existing design provisions for concrete-filled steel pipes subjected to axial forces and flexure is reviewed by comparing the strengths predicted by the CAN/CSA-S16.1-M94, AISC LRFD 1994, and the Eurocode 4 1994 codes and standards against experimental data from a number of investigators. New proposed design equations are then developed, in a format compatible with North Ame...
متن کاملEffect of the Concrete Strength on the Concrete-Steel Bond in Concrete Filled Steel Tubes
In this study, the concrete-steel bond strength of concrete filled cylindrical steel tubes has been experimentally investigated. 22 short, high strength and normal concrete filled circular steel tubes were tested. Push-out test was carried out as the common method to evaluate the bond carrying capacity. Four different concrete mixes were used in preparing the specimens. The steel tubes were w...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Non-linear Analysis of Multi-hazard Performance of Cylindrical Concrete Filled Steel Tubes Bridge Piers
Advanced finite element techniques are used to investigate the multi-hazard (earthquake and blast) performance of Concrete-Filled Steel Tubes (CFSTs) and Concrete Filled Double Skinned Tubes (CFDSTs) for bridge engineering applications. Specimens of both sections are analyzed using the finite element package LS-DYNA under similar seismic and blast loading. First, behavior of CFSTs recorded in s...
متن کاملInelastic Behavior of Concrete-filled Thin-walled Steel Tubular Columns Subjected to Local Buckling
This paper is concerned with the inelastic behavior of axially loaded concrete-filled thin-walled steel tubular columns subjected to local buckling. A nonlinear fiber element analysis program accounting for local buckling effects is developed for predicting the ultimate strength and ductility of concrete-filled thin-walled steel tubular columns. The effects of local buckling are taken into cons...
